Ableton Preset
If you use Ableton (11 or 12), you can download a Synth Preset that allows you to work through the Synth Quest zine.
Bonus feature of this preset is I’ve created presets of each lesson in the zine so if you are brand new to making music, you can hear what the lesson is supposed to sound like and see the knob positions.
TAL Noise Maker Synth – Free
Another great option is using the TAL Noise Maker Synth which can be used with Windows, Mac, and Linux and is 100% free to download.
This synth has more features and options than our quest requires, however, once you work your way through the zine, you will be equipped to take on these features with ease!
